How do I report content from the Ask the Community section of my business page?

Before you report a contribution to the Ask the Community section of a business page, please read more about our guidelines and when we might remove a question or answer. Note: reporting something doesn’t guarantee it will be removed, and the Ask the Community feature cannot be turned off as it helps potential customers get useful information about your business.

If you come across a question or answer that you feel may violate Yelp's guidelines, please let our moderators know by reporting it. Keep in mind that you may still need to claim your business page in order to report content from a business account.

From the Yelp for Business website (biz.yelp.com)
  1. Locate the Community Questions section from your Yelp for Business page. If you have access to multiple business pages, make sure you’re viewing the correct one
  2. Locate the question you want to report
  3. Click the Flag icon next to the question
  4. Select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
  5. In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the question
  6. Click Send

From the Yelp for Business app
  1. From the Home tab, scroll down and tap Community Questions. If you have access to multiple business pages, make sure you’re viewing the correct one
  2. Locate the question you want to report
  3. Tap the Flag icon
  4. Tap Report question
  5. Under What’s the problem, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
  6. In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the question
  7. Tap Report


To report an answer

From the Yelp for Business website (biz.yelp.com)

  1. Locate the Community Questions section from your Yelp for Business page. If you have access to multiple business pages, make sure you’re viewing the correct one
  2. Find the question that contains the answer you want to report
  3. Click the See answer button under the question
  4. Locate the answer you want to report
  5. Click the Flag icon under the answer you want to report
  6. Select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the answer
  7. In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the answer
  8. Click Send

  3. Locate the answer you want to report
  4. Tap the Flag icon under the answer you want to report
  5. Tap Report answer
  6. Under What’s the problem, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
  7. In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the answer
  8. Tap Report
