How do I report content from the Ask the Community section of a business page?

Before you report a contribution to the Ask the Community section of a business page, please read more about our guidelines and when we might remove a question or answer. You'll need to be signed up with Yelp and logged in to your account in order to report any content. Keep in mind that reporting something doesn't guarantee it will be removed.

Business owners: please follow these instructions when reporting content in the Ask the Community section of your business page.

Instructions:

To report a question

From the full site at www.yelp.com

1. Scroll to find the Ask the Community section on the business page
2. Click on the See more answers button or See question details button. You may need to click the See all questions button if the question isn’t already listed
3. From the See more answers or See question details button:
   • Scroll to find the question you want to report. Note: the question may be right under Yelp business details and business photos
   • Click the 3 dots to the right of the question
   • Click Report question
   • Select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the question
   • Click Send
4. From the See all questions button:
   • Find the question you want to report
   • Click on the 3 dots to the right of the question. Note: you can also click the See question details button under the question and follow the instructions above
   • Click Report question
   • Select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
   • Type in a reason why you're reporting the question
   • Click Send

From an iPhone/Android

1. Scroll to find the Ask the community section of the Yelp page
2. Tap the right arrow next to the question you want to report, or you may need to tap the more questions button if the question isn’t already listed
3. From the right arrow button:
   • Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner next to the business name or tap the Report Question gray text below all the answers
   • Under What’s the problem, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the question
   • Tap Send
4. From the more questions button:
   • Find the question you want to report
   • Tap the question text directly 
   • Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner next to the business name or tap the Report Question gray text below all the answers
   • Under What’s the problem?, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the question
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the question
   • Tap Send

4. From the See more answers or See question details button:
   • Find the answer you want to report
   • Click the 3 dots above the answer
   • Click Report answer
   • Select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the answer
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the answer
   • Click Send
5. From the See all questions button:
   • Find the question that contains the answer you want to report. You may need to click See more answers button if the answer isn’t already listed
   • Find the answer you want to report
   • Click the 3 dots above the answer
   • Click Report answer

1. Scroll to find the Ask the community section of the Yelp page
2. Find the question that contains the answer you want to report
3. Tap the right arrow button next to the question, the more answers button or tap the answer directly if shown. You may need to tap the more questions button if the question isn’t already listed
4. From the right arrow button, more answers button or tapping the answer directly:
   • Find the answer you want to report and tap the answer text directly 
   • Tap the Report Answer gray text under the answer
   • Under What’s the problem?, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the answer
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the answer
   • Tap Send
5. From the more questions button:
   • Find the question that contains the answer you want to report
   • Tap the answer text directly. If the answer isn’t shown, you first may need to tap the question text directly or tap the more answers text 
   • Tap the answer text directly again. Tap the Report Answer gray text under the answer
   • Under What’s the problem?, select one of the listed reasons for wanting to report the answer
   • In the text box, explain why you’re reporting the answer
   • Tap Send
