Can I turn off the Ask the Community section of my business page?

Ask the Community cannot be turned off or temporarily disabled – it's a sitewide feature that helps customers find the perfect business for their needs or answers to common questions that may not be found on the business website or Yelp page. Participation by the business owner is optional but highly encouraged. We recommend that business owners use this feature to answer questions about their own business and help potential customers get accurate information, rather than using it for customer surveys or other types of engagement. Over time, this can lead to fewer unnecessary contacts and more informed, better-qualified customer interest.
