Yelp Assistant collects and retains chat data for the purposes described in Yelp’s
Privacy Policy. Chat data may also be used to derive certain inferences about you (“
Memories”) that are used to provide you with a more personalized experience. For example, if you let us know that you are looking to make a repair for your home or that you drive a particular type of car, Yelp may remember this information and use it to make more relevant suggestions and personalize the content you see.
How can I manage my Memories?
Once you submit a project, you can manage your Memories at any time through the Yelp Assistant settings. You can access this by tapping the Yelp Assistant Memory in the “Me” tab or the three-dot menu in Yelp Assistant.
In these settings, you can also view or remove Memories. When Memories are removed, they will no longer be used to personalize your experience. Please note that it may take up to 72 hours for changes to be reflected.
